FUNNY UNCLE four then three wide in pursuit, came under urging at the three-eighths marker, angled out five to six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong, seized command just inside the sixteenth pole and edged away to the finish to score. GUNNER BAY coaxed from the start, vied between a pair of rivals just off the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat to the outside, got collared inside the sixteenth marker and ran on clear for the place honors. THRILL OF IT coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. LEADING ROLE coaxed from the start, crossed directly to be along the inside, vied inside a pair of foes lightly coaxed along from the get go, yielded the front just outside the quarter pole and cornered from the two path into upper stretch, then weakened in the drive. PANAGIOTIS coaxed from the gate, vied three wide outside a pair of rivals under coaxing from the three-eighths marker, got shaken off near the quarter pole and went three to four wide into upper stretch, then weakened through to the finish. BECAUSE THE NIGHT urged from the start, chased just off the inside down the backstretch before heading five wide through the turn, went six wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
