PURLOIN went around the first turn in the four then five path, raced up close on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, gained in the three then four path on the far turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped to the three path while moving clear into the stretch, responded well in the drive and held under strong urging. I'M BUZZY went around the first turn in the three then four path, was reserved off the pace, dropped from the three path to the two path under urging on the far turn, shifted to the four path outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the five path and safely secured the place. METFARDEH was well placed on the inside, moved to the two path under urging early on the far turn, made a bid between horses at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back into upper stretch and weakened but earned the show. YANKEE DOODLE was hustled from the gate, shifted from the three path to the four path on the first turn, dropped back while ridden along on the backstretch, angled from the three path to the five path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and improved position. NEXT ON STAGE was hustled from the gate, dropped from the five path to the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and tired. SHE'S FASCINATING rounded the first turn in the five then six path, settled on the outside, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, traveled around the far turn in the four then five path and failed to rally. BOBBY JEAN went around the first turn in the two path, settled towards the rear, saved ground on the far turn and failed to respond. NOTICEABLE went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the advantage near the quarter-pole and faded.
