DON LUIS was taken in hand at the break very briefly, then got steadied after the start off the heels of a rival, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, went four then three wide into upper stretch rallying to take command just inside the three-sixteenths marker, dug in under a drive tussling with the runner up before inching away to the finish to prevail. POPPY'S TICKET got bumped at the start by ALIAS, who broke inwards, raced four wide in close aim of the leader applying some pressure, advanced to vie stacked three wide through the turn taking over command inside the five-sixteenths pole, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared inside the three-sixteenths marker, dug in and fought on latched on the top one through to the wire. MARKET WATCH chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the line. FROSTELLE coaxed from the gate, raced three then two wide between foes applying some pressure down the backstretch before advancing to vie between foes through the turn under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. ALIAS broke in at the start bumping POPPY'S TICKET, chased five then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole and bid through the latter portion of the turn, went five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong. SEEKER'S HOPE coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand along the inside under prompting from a pair of rivals down the backstretch, had those foes advance and vied inside them through the turn ridden along from three furlongs out, yielded the front inside the five-sixteenths marker, cut the corner into upper stretch and weakened through to the finish.
