Footnotes
WHISKEY N SODA tracked the pace along the inside coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths marker, angled out four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to prevail. BEST BET three then two wide through the first turn, settled under rating showing the way just off the inside, tucked inside half a mile from home, remained patiently handled until roused taking the two path into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat growing a bit weary inside the sixteenth marker and was caught in the final strides to the wire. QUIET WISDOM grew rank under restraint just off the inside into the first turn when under a hold expecting BEST BET to tuck in front, had that rival delay the tuck, pulled keen at the tail of the field and was checked just outside the seven-eighths marker, the rider briefly sitting in an attempt to settle his charge, chased four then three paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the far turn, came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, swung five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened. BROWN DON'T STOP stumbled at the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide down the backstretch, backed away into the far turn losing ground and growing detached at the tail of the field effectively stopping, was eased along six wide into upper stretch continuing to lose ground and was eased home to the finish line.
