Footnotes
AUTUMN'S TURN chased four then five wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, took over command with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under a drive and held sway over a rival through the final furlong. HEAVENS LEE chased three to four wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch seizing brief command straightened away, got collared with three-sixteenths remaining, dug in latched on through to the finish but was ultimately repelled to the wire while well clear of the rest and along second best. THAT'STHEFACTJACK coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch and improved position to the end. FURRY FOX coaxed from the start, chased two to three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered three wide into upper stretch, weakened. CHA CHA WREN chased along the inside down the backstretch before heading three wide through the turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, made no impact. PURPLE AND GOLD coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside through moderate splits clear of the nearest rival, shook away a bit heading towards the turn, remained in command and had the field take closer order nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was overhauled just inside the quarter pole, then folded through to the finish.
