Footnotes
ATARAH brushed with a foe at the start, settled on the outside, moved closer with five furlongs to run, gained to make a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the four path on the turn, passed the five-sixteenths pole on even terms for the lead while under urging, took the advantage near the quarter-pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and maintained a safe advantage under steady urging. ROMANTIC DANCER stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while asked on the turn, passed the five-sixteenths pole between horses, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and was outfinished while clear for the place. ROMAN GRACE went to the front then showed the way, was asked under heavy threat in the two path on the turn, raced inside two opponents under strong urging passing the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage near the quarter-pole and weakened but was clear for the show. PURR FACTOR stumbled at the start then brushed with a rival, was urged early then raced just off the pace, chased in the two then three path on the turn and tired. DESPO'S DREAM was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and came up empty.
