RIDGEWOOD RUNNER knocked heads five then four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide into the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and swung five wide into upper stretch taking over command straightened away, then drew clear under a drive to prevail. SYSTEMIC CHANGE chased six paths off the inside briefly before tucking four then three wide down the backstretch sluggish and growing detached at the tail of the field, tucked inside half a mile from home, got ridden along midway on the turn, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to secure the place honors while never threatening the top one. FEELING WOOZY coaxed from the gate, chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five to six wide through the turn, went six wide into upper stretch and weakened. MR. PAPAGIORGIO struck the off side stall at the start, dueled four then three paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and tired. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. STOLEN BASE chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path half a mile from home, came under encouragement midway on the turn, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact.
