KADENA was hustled from the gate, angled in while going to the front, showed the way on the inside of a foe, vied along the rail on the turn, dueled inside of the runner-up while off the rail in the stretch, fought gamely to the finish and prevailed under strong urging. HOWLING WIND was carried in early then switched to the outside, moved up to press the pace on the outside then drew even with the leader, vied in the two path on the turn, dueled outside of the winner in the stretch and missed while well clear for the place. MOONLIGHT GAL was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace, moved out late on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, dropped back into the final furlong, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and weakened while just able to get the show. CAROL T was hustled from the gate, steadied briefly when foes crossed in front just inside the three-quarter pole, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four path and tired then just missed the show. SAUCY SIX dropped to the rear of the field, shifted from the rail to the three path late on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. CHOCOLATECHOCOLATE was hustled from the gate, raced in tight quarters between horses passing the three-quarter pole and dropped back some, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, traveled around the turn in the two path and came up empty.
