CONFABULATION moved in while going to the front, showed the way under some pressure from both sides, went around the turn in the two path, shook clear coming to the five-sixteenths pole, extended the advantage while asked for his best in upper stretch, shied out under a left-handed crop near the furlong marker, widened under one pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a strong hand-ride to the finish while much the best. FLAT ON broke a step slow, angled to the outside early, advanced to prompt the pace on the outside, vied in the three path under urging on the turn, dropped back approaching the five-sixteenths pole, pursued the winner into the final furlong, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and held the place. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME raced under a tight hold leaving the chute then came under urging before the three-quarter pole, traveled around the turn in the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path then moved in some in the lane and lacked the needed response while along for the show. SIN NOMBRE settled just off the early pace, dropped back then angled in early on the backstretch, was urged along while last but one, went around the turn in the two then three path, came into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. UNION EXPRESS prompted the pace on the inside of the winner, dropped back early on the turn, chased inside through that bend and tired. BECAUSE THE NIGHT dropped back after the start then angled to the outside, was urged along at the rear, rounded the turn in the four path and was no factor.
