SLAY SADIE SLAY settled off the pace, was roused while inside to the two path on the turn, shifted to the three path outside quarter-pole, swung into the six path entering the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final sixteenth and prevail. FRANKIE COFFEECAKE broke out and brushed with a foe then was carried in early, chased the pace, went around the turn in the two path, dropped to the rail into the stretch, gained to make a rail bid approaching the furlong marker, took the lead outside the sixteenth-pole, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while drifting out late but held the place. KAZ BRIO brushed with a rival at the start and was last away, moved up while ridden along on the outside then chased the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path, pursued the leaders under a drive into the final sixteenth and weakened but earned the show. TWO DUCKS moved in while showing speed, pressed the pace on the outside, drew even with the leader near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two to three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, battled under a drive while narrowly in front into the final furlong, was headed outside the sixteenth-pole and tired. MITOLEGAYNE moved in while going to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, came off the inside under a drive into upper stretch, fought with two foes into the final furlong and also tired. SONOFASONOFASAILOR dropped back after the start, was ridden along well off the pace, traveled around the turn in the four then five path and failed to respond. COMPLEXINGTON settled at the rear of the field, raced inside to the two path on the turn and showed little.
