ALWAYS PRACTICAL chased just off the inside until angled out nearing the quarter pole, swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying through the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to prevail. SHEER WILL chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn advancing on the front under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into upper stretch and took over the front straightened away, dug in under lone threat to the outside and was caught in the final strides to the wire. VANILLA broke out a step at the start, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn ridden along from three furlongs out, tipped four wide into upper stretch, ran on to garner the show honors. CASILDA showed the way in hand three then two wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three then two wide into upper stretch under threat, yielded the front straightened away and weakened in the late stages. HEY COOKIE brushed the near side stall at the start and came under coaxing, chased along the inside under a ride with five-sixteenths remaining, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the late going.
