ACOUSTIC AVE broke alertly and went straight to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, controlled the action while inside on the turn, responded well when asked in the two path at the top of the stretch, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held under steady urging. BABY YODA was hustled from the gate, showed speed then chased the pace, went around the turn in the two path, moved to the three path outside the quarter-pole, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and willingly earned the place then was transported off the track via equine ambulance. BOLD JOURNEY was urged along at the rear, saved ground under strong urging on the turn, came under the crop in upper stretch and also finished willingly but missed the place while clear for third. GENERAL BANKER chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, moved to the four path outside the quarter-pole and tired.
