Footnotes
UNDERGRAD went to the front, showed the way under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, shook clear while put to a drive in upper stretch and drew off under steady urging to prove much the best. TAHILA settled on the inside while behind horses at the rear, saved ground while roused early on the turn, gained with three furlongs to run, drafted behind horses late on that bend, was roused in the two path into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and safely secured the place. GARDEN OF GRACE was bumped lightly in the hindquarters at the start, settled outside in third position, was asked in the three path on the turn, chased in the four path into the stretch and weakened while just able to get the show. PATIENCE N GRACE was ridden along off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path early on the turn, drafted behind horses late on that bend, steadied while lacking room nearing the three-sixteenths pole, moved in shortly thereafter and also lacked the needed response then just missed the show. LADY DELILAH was urged along towards the rear, went around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the rail and failed to rally. THREE NINES FINE broke out and bumped soundly with a rival, pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and tired. BUSTLING TOWN tossed her head at the start then was bumped soundly and slow into stride, spotted the front a few lengths, settled outside under some urging, went around the turn in the four path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
