SPIRIT DRAGON coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to be along the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in and held clear to the finish. EXPLORATION chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under a ride midway on the turn, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. SCAT TU TAP chased just off the inside and then along the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths marker, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the wire. ANALOG JONES coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside ridden along from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. UNCLE JIM chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths marker, tipped four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. COMPLEX MUSIC forwardly placed five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn and came under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened. HIGH OAK struck the near side stall at the start, chased six paths off the inside briefly before tucking four wide, came under urging at three furlongs from home, went seven wide into upper stretch and made no impact. REGISTER chased four then three wide under a ride from midway on the turn, cornered four wide at the head of the stretch, faltered.
