COOL ANDY was hustled from the gate, moved up to dispute the pace on the inside of a foe, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn, dueled inside of the runner-up in the stretch, disposed of that opponent in the final sixteenth and edged clear to prevail. CARVELLIAN QUEST was hustled to the front, disputed the pace on the outside, moved from the three path to the two path early on the turn, dueled outside of the winner in the stretch, battled into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the place. GAMEBRED was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response while just able to get the show. GOLDEN SYMPHONY was hustled from the gate, bumped with a rival early, settled under some urging, saved ground on the turn and also lacked the needed response then just missed the show. PLAYA DEL MAR bumped with rivals on both sides early then steadied, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, shifted out around the sixteenth-pole and improved without threatening. FIDDLING FELIX was urged along off the pace, rounded most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, angled out in upper stretch and failed to rally. TWOHONESTMISCHIEF bumped with opponents on both sides early then steadied, was roused in the two path on the turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the four path then shifted further out and failed to threaten. MOZAMBIQUE bumped with rivals on both sides early, settled off the pace, saved ground for most of the turn then shifted to the two path, swung out into upper stretch, passed the three-sixteenths pole near the seven path and was no factor. SERGEANT CAPPS settled outside under some urging, went around the turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the five path then moved further out and also was no factor. TIMAEUS settled on the far outside, was urged along while moving from the five path to the six path on the turn and faltered. SHADOW SURGE was hustled from the gate, came in early then bumped with a rival, chased the pace, went around the turn in the two to three path and retreated. DORMELLO chased the pace, dropped back in the four then five path on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off.
