BE YOU broke in a step at the start and was corrected before making contact with LIGHT THE WAY, chased just off the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, rallied to collar the embattled top pair just inside the eighth pole, then edged clear to the finish kept to task. DOC SULLIVAN brushed the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside until tipped three wide inside the half mile pole into the turn, tucked to the two path midway and was placed to coaxing inside the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. VICTORY WAY grew a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start inspiring LIGHT THE WAY to do the same, got coaxed from the start and dueled three then two wide with LIGHT THE WAY to his inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and was set down spinning three wide for home, dug in head to head and was collared just inside the eighth pole by the top one, kept on to preserve the show honors on the line. LIGHT THE WAY grew a bit fractious in the gate just after VICTORY WAY did, came under hustling at the start and dueled inside the aforementioned rival just off the inside down the backstretch and then along the inside through the turn, came under urging just outside the quarter pole and was let out swinging from the two path into upper stretch, dug in head to head and prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. NATION lunged and broke outwards at the start bumping OVER AND OLLIE in the hindquarters knocking that rival askew, chased four then three wide from just off the duelers, came under a ride three furlongs out, angled six wide into upper stretch and tired. OVER AND OLLIE got bumped at the start and knocked askew by NATION, who lunged outwards, came under hustling and chased five then four wide just off the duel up front getting placed to urging with seven-sixteenths to run, angled seven then six wide into upper stretch and tired through to the finish.
