IGNITER got bumped at the start by HONG KONG PHOOEY and in turn brushed BLUE FORTY TWO, chased four paths of the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the turn advancing on the leader to take command with five-sixteenths to run, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to prevail. BLUE FORTY TWO got brushed between foes at the start getting away last, then grew detached when devoid of speed early on and chased just off the inside, came under flashing with the crop to the right side nearing the half mile pole and began to make ground just off the inside through the turn, tipped three wide at the quarter pole before angling out to the six path straightened away at the three-sixteenths, kicked on belatedly to secure the place honors in a good effort. TARTABULL broke out a step at the start brushing the aforementioned foe, chased along the inside until tipped two then three wide placed to a drive at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and kept on through to the finish. HEDGE RATIO coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside briefly before tipping out to chase two then three wide, came under urging at the seven-sixteenths marker, angled out seven to eight wide into upper stretch and tired. HONG KONG PHOOEY broke in at the start bumping IGNITER into BLUE FORTY TWO, showed the way in hand along the inside coming under coaxing nearing the five-sixteenths, got displaced from command at that station and took the inside route into upper stretch, then tired in the drive. CHUMMERS hustled from the gate, raced two to three wide in closest aim of the leader in the opening quarter mile, tucked to the two path through the turn and faded, swung four wide into upper stretch, faltered, and was eased home to the finish. RAGING SEA CAPTAIN coaxed from the start, chased five then four wide under encouragement from midway on the turn, tipped six wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home to the finish.
