PAIR OF SOCKS broke in at the start, chased three paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside into the turn, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying inside the final furlong, seized command a sixteenth out and edged away to the finish to prevail. SOCIAL HOUR dueled two to three paths off the inside with UNCLE WILLIAM to his outside down the backstretch, shook off that rival a bit near the half mile pole and showed the way through the turn just off the inside, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, dug in under growing threat to the outside and was collared a sixteenth from home, ran on clear of the rest and along second best. SHOOT THE NICKEL chased three then two wide under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, angled six wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire. UNCLE WILLIAM dueled early on from the four path with SOCIAL HOUR to his inside, got shaken off a bit and tucked three wide through the turn giving chase, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, swung five to six wide into upper stretch and tired. TRUST FUND three to four wide in pursuit, got ridden along three furlongs from home, continued three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. THIRTEEN G'S stumbled badly at the start and appeared to shy in when recovering from the breaking in PAIR OF SOCKS, had the rider lose both irons and veered outwards after the break growing further detached at the tail of the field as the rider got back into his irons, got guided inwards seven then six paths off the rail nine-sixteenths from home well behind, continued through the turn and went five wide into upper stretch and was eased along home to the finish.
