KAVANAUGH three wide through the first turn, chased three wide in closest aim of the leader, began to advance on that rival from the midway point on the far turn, seized command and swung five wide into upper stretch, shied out under a left handed crop at the three-sixteenths marker, then drew clear under a drive to prevail. FIRST TRUMPET coaxed from the gate, raced three wide into the first turn and tucked in to the rail by midway, showed the way in hand along the inside, came under growing threat to the outside with three furlongs to run, yielded the front spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on clear for the place honors. UNBRIDLED BOMBER coaxed from the start, raced two then three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. BLAME IT ON DADDY coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside tucking in front of SCAT TU TAP and forcing that foe to steady in behind just inside the five furlong marker, came under encouragement three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and tired. INDY RAGS coaxed from the start, raced just off the inside through the opening turn, chased five then four wide under urging from the half mile pole, continued four to five wide into upper stretch, tired. SCAT TU TAP chased along the inside, got steadied just inside five furlongs to run when BLAME IT ON DADDY took to the rail directly in front, tipped to the two path through the far turn and went three wide into upper stretch, then tired in the drive.
