Footnotes
HOT GOSSIP tossed her head then brushed with a foe at the start, moved in while urged along off the pace, shifted from the rail to the four path while gaining on the the turn, rallied in the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final strides and prevail. CELESTIAL BODY showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, was roused outside the five-sixteenths pole, took a short lead outside the furlong marker, led until the final strides but was denied while just able to get the place. LIAM'S DIVA was hustled to the front then showed the way on the inside of a rival, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked with three furlongs to run, lost the advantage to the runner-up outside the eighth-pole, fought on gamely in the final furlong and just missed while clear for the show. KAY ROAD chased early then was well placed just off the pace, was asked in the two path on the turn, chased in the stretch and lacked the needed kick. TRUDA broke awkwardly and was taken up, spotted the front a few lengths, raced at the rear, rounded the turn in the two path, took an awkward stride outside the quarter-pole, came into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. IT'S CAROL'S WAY brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled, was urged along on the outside, moved in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. BEAU HILL was urged along on the outside, rounded the turn in the five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and was no factor. CALL ME JAL broke in at the start then chased the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, retreated in the four path on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off.
