GALINDA angled in quickly while going to the front, was well rated while setting the pace on the inside, dictated terms while hugging the rail on the turn, responded well when asked at the top of the stretch, drew off under a drive into the final furlong, was kept to the task into the final sixteenth then eased up while much the best. RINA'S REVENGE broke out at the start, settled on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, came out inside the three-sixteenths pole and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. VICTORY HALL moved out early then stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired while clear for the show. PURPLE DIVINE was taken under a tight hold and steadied briefly outside the three-quarter pole, moved out outside the five-eighths pole then settled on the outside, was urged along in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then moved further out while remaining on her inside lead, bumped with PINKY BRIER just inside the eighth-pole, drifted in under a right-handed crop and made contact with that foe several more times in the final furlong and just earned the last spot in the superfecta. PINKY BRIER broke awkwardly and was off a step slow, moved up to establish a good position on the inside, chased along the rail on the turn, was put to the crop approaching the quarter-pole, came out into upper stretch then moved further out, bumped with PURPLE DEVINE just inside the eighth-pole, was carried in by that foe and bumped several more times in the final furlong and just missed fourth position. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
