LUCKY DUDE was urged along on the outside, gained leaving the backstretch, chased in the four path on the turn, rallied to the lead at the furlong marker and drew clear under steady urging. MASTER OF ARMS broke a step slow, moved up then was well placed just off the pace, chased inside to the two path on the turn, bumped with a foe at the quarter-pole then altered to the inside, chased into the final furlong, made a bid outside the sixteenth-pole but proved no match for the winner while able to get the place. STOLEN BASE chased the pace, made a bid in the three path on the turn, bumped with a rival at the quarter-pole, dropped back in upper stretch then moved out near the furlong marker, kept on while weakening some to the finish and secured the show. GRAYWING pressed the pace on the outside, took the lead with a half-mile to run, vied in the two path on the turn, came under the crop in upper stretch, lost the advantage at the furlong marker and tired. MORE VINO was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two then three path and failed to respond. RUN HAPPY PAPPY was ridden along at the rear, rounded the turn in the two then three path and was no factor. BEST BET broke through the front of the gate prior to the start but remained in the stall, went to the front then showed the way on the inside of a foe, lost the advantage late on the backstretch, dropped back while inside on the turn, moved off the rail outside the quarter-pole and stopped then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
