AMBITION bumped with an opponent at the start, dropped to the rear early then angled in, went around the turn in the two then three path, swung out to the five path into the stretch, rallied on the outside to get the lead inside the three-sixteenths pole then drew clear under steady urging. EGYPTIAN was rated off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path, chased in the drive and was second best. SEQUENTIAL brushed with a rival at the start, pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, passed the three-sixteenths with a narrow lead then lost the advantage to the winner and weakened but secured the show. AMBRIDGE was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, steadied while behind a wall of horses inside the three-sixteenths pole, moved out around the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. SUPERPOWER bumped with foes on both sides at the start, moved up under coaxing then chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. MCDIESEL went to the front and showed the way, was asked while inside on the turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and gave way. RESILIENT HERO bumped with a rival at the start, steadied outside the three-quarter pole, went around the turn in the four then five path and had nothing left. SMALLCHANGEGEEP brushed with a foe and was off a step slow, dropped well off the pace, moved from the two path to the five path outside the three-eighths pole, shifted to the four path outside the quarter-pole and failed to respond. DESPERATE PROPOSAL broke a step slow, dropped well off the pace, moved from the three path to the six path on the turn and also failed to respond.
