MO FOR THE KING established the front shortly after the start and showed the way in hand along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat from a pair, repelled the duo inside the final furlong to gamely inch away in the late stages and score. GRAND CASH coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, ran on rallying with TIOTE to his inside, got repelled as a pair by the top one but won the battle for the place honors in the final jumps. TIOTE coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside coming under a ride at the three-eighths pole, angled four wide into upper stretch, kept on under a drive but was ultimately rebuffed by the top one and then collared for the place honors while clear for the show. HAVE A CIGAR got bumped at the start by TOTAL SILENCE, who broke inwards, and conceded three to four lengths to the front, chased five wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, went eight wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. TOTAL SILENCE broke in at the start bumping HAVE A CIGAR, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. ALZERO broke in at the start and was corrected, chased three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME chased three to four paths off the inside until tucked inside through the turn, came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. RECURRING REVENUE lunged at the break, raced forwardly placed three then two wide, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, spun three wide into upper stretch and faltered in the stretch. FIRST PITCH grew a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, tossed his head at the break getting away last and conceding six to seven lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, cornered four to five wide into upper stretch and was unable to make an impact. STATE PARK coaxed from the start, chased six then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went four wide into upper stretch and never threatened.
