TWIRLING BEAUTY was hustled from the gate, angled in while going to the front, dictated terms in the two path through the turn, responded well when asked for her best in upper stretch and drew off under steady urging. ATARAH dropped back while urged along then angled to the rail, shifted from the inside to the two path late on the turn, moved out inside the three-sixteenths pole and improved for the place. IRISH MAXIMA tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and weakened while able to get a share of the show. SWEET BROWN SUGAR was urged along on the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, was carried out near the furlong marker and lacked the needed response but grabbed a share of the show. RELIABLE LADY was urged along off the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn and came up empty.
