INTENTIOUS chased three then two wide down the backstretch before heading to the inside through the turn coming under encouragement three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tipped out near the eighth pole and rallied to collar the front near the sixteenth marker, then edged clear to the finish. MUNNINGS EXPRESS dueled three then two wide with MAJESTIC RETURN to her outside, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was roused with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under threat and was caught just outside the sixteenth marker, ran on to secure the place honors. SOLOSHOT grew a bit fractious in the gate just after JACKSON'S DIXIE did, chased just off the inside under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. MAJESTIC RETURN dueled four then three wide patiently handled until let out swinging four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was shaken off inside the eighth pole, weakened in the late stages. NINA KAY coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide for home, weakened in the stretch. MONETARY MONARCH coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide under prolonged urging from the half mile pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, tired. JACKSON'S DIXIE grew a bit fractious in the gate and inspired SOLOSHOT to do the same, chased three to four wide under a long ride from the half mile pole, went seven to eight wide at the top of the stretch and tired.
