MILES AND MILES along the inside into the fist turn, tipped out four wide one mile from home carrying out DOMINICAN PIRATE briefly before advancing on the front to take command seven furlongs from home, angled in to settle along the inside down the backstretch showing the way in hand, remained patiently handled through the far turn and cut the corner into upper stretch, got roused straightened away and went clear under a drive to prevail. LUCKY DRAGON coaxed from the gate, crossed to the inside into the first turn showing the way until displaced from the front with seven furlongs to go, chased briefly along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on to secure the place honors by a head on the wire. ASSET MANAGEMENT coaxed from the start, chased along the inside coming under urging at the three-eighths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, ran on to miss for the place honors while safe for the show. MAGNI coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside coming under a ride three furlongs out, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and kept on through to the finish. DOMINICAN PIRATE broke out at the start brushing POWERED BY COAL, chased three then two wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, tipped four to five wide for home, made no late headway.
