BERNIETAKESCHARGE got bumped at the start by WEIGH THE RISKS due to pressure from KID'S LAST LAUGH, dueled from the two path with AUSSIE GIRL to her outside, tucked inside through the turn and was joined three deep by the runner up midway on the turn, shook off the middle rival in tandem and was under some pressure from WEIGH THE RISKS and came under urging just outside the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch shaking off that rival straightened away and drew clear under a drive to prevail. WEIGH THE RISKS received a glancing bump from KID'S LAST LAUGH at the break when that rival stepped outwards and in turn bumped BERNIETAKESCHARGE, chased four then three wide advancing on the duel at the three-eighths to stack outside them, had the middle rival bow out through the latter portion of the turn and was latched on the leader spinning three wide for home under a drive, got shaken off straightened away proving no match for that rival while along clear of the rest and second best. KID'S LAST LAUGH broke out a step at the start bumping WEIGH THE RISKS into BERNIETAKESCHARGE, chased three wide until tucked briefly to the two path into the turn before heading back three wide when placed to a ride at the three-eighths pole, tipped four wide at the top of the stretch and weakened but was just up for the show honors on the wire. AUSSIE GIRL (IRE) broke out at the start and was corrected, led briefly before being engaged in head to head combat with BERNIETAKESCHARGE to her inside seven furlongs from home, knocked heads four then three wide down the backstretch getting eased off briefly before coming again tucked to the two path into the turn, got joined outside by the runner up and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths between foes, faded through to the quarter pole and went two to three wide for home, then weakened in the stretch and was nailed on the wire for the show honors. BON ADIEU stumbled at the start, chased five then four wide under a ride with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled six wide at the head of the lane, tired.
