Footnotes
FRIZZANTE bumped with a rival at the start, bumped the hindquarters of the same foe early, was urged along near the back, raced in the two to three path early on the turn, moved to the four path later on the bend, rallied into upper stretch, closed well to get the lead nearing the furlong marker and proved best under steady handling. SCAT TU TAP showed speed then set the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, responded well when asked for more into upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner while drifting out near the eighth-pole, fought on well with that foe to the finish but missed while clear for the place. BERNING BEAUTY settled on the outside, moved in late on the backstretch, was roused while shifting from the two path to the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. FINAL DENILE showed speed then stalked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the three path on the turn, chased under a drive into upper stretch and weakened. HOULTON broke out and bumped with a rival, showed speed then prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, was asked in the two path on the turn, dropped back approaching the quarter-pole and tired. TRAFFIC MASTER bumped with foes on both sides at the start, was bumped in the hindquarters early, established a good position just off the pace, was asked near the nine-sixteenths pole, chased in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and came up empty.
