Footnotes
BRACIOLE fell well behind the rest of the field, was urged along while shifting from the rail to the four path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed with a rush to win going away. NOONZIO bumped lightly with a rival at the start, was urged along on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, took the lead while dropping in into upper stretch, was headed just inside the furlong marker then drifted out, fought with BEARY FUNNY under a drive into the final sixteenth and narrowly bested that foe for the place but was overtaken by the winner. BEARY FUNNY settled off the pace, was asked in the two then three path on the turn, moved to the four path outside the quarter-pole, rallied to get a narrow lead just inside the furlong marker, led under a drive while battling with the runner-up into the final sixteenth but was overtaken by the winner and just missed the place while clear for the show. TRUST FUND bumped lightly with a rival at the start, chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn and tired. WARALO was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was asked while moving to the two path into upper stretch, chased into the final furlong and weakened. CONCORDE SPIRIT bumped with a foe at the start, settled under some urging, raced in the three path for most of the turn then dropped to the two path, moved in late in the stretch and failed to threaten. GOLDEN ARM raced with no front shoes, moved in while going to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole then came under the crop, lost the advantage into upper stretch and gave way. HUMSTINGER was fractious in the gate, bobbled at the start then bumped with a foe, showed speed then contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, dropped back late on that bend, raced in hand while falling back between horses into the stretch and faltered then was eased but walked off.
