EMIRATES ROAD got bumped at the start by LIBERTE DE BAYEUX, who broke out a step, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, shying out straightened away an additional two paths under a left handed crop, had the rider go to the right hand and corrected rallying to take command a furlong out, then shied out under a left handed crop once more while drawing clear to the finish, getting corrected again nearing the wire. LIBERTE DE BAYEUX broke out at the start bumping the aforementioned foe, showed the way in hand three then two wide coming under coaxing just outside the eighth pole before being set down three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught a furlong out, ran on well clear of the rest to be along second best. SHADOW DRAGON seven paths off the inside in pursuit down the backstretch, tucked four then three wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to secure the show honors. BOURBON CHASE chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch just off the leader, tucked three wide through the turn coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, drifted out when EMIRATES ROAD shied out to his inside, then weakened through to the finish. COLLOQUY chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths, went eight wide into upper stretch and improved position to the eighth pole, then flattened out in the late going. IRIDESCENT coaxed from the start, chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, swung three wide for home, tired. SMILE MON coaxed from the gate, chased six then five wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, cornered six wide into upper stretch, tired. WAITLIST chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn pushed along with seven-sixteenths to run, swung five wide into upper stretch and made no impact. GOOD MONEY lost his rear footing at the start and came under coaxing to prompt the leader from the four path, tucked inside into the turn and gave chase coming under urging at the half mile pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch in retreat and tired.
