CENTAVO got bumped at the start by UNION LIGHTS, who recovered outwards from a bobble, chased three wide until tucked inside nearing the half mile pole, saved ground through the turn coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge through the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to the finish and just got the nod on the wire. BLAKE B. coaxed from the gate, chased three then four wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying to take command a sixteenth out, tussled head to head to the wire and just lost the bob on the line. FUNNY JOKE showed the way in hand just off the inside down the backstretch and then along the inside through the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat from a flanking pair and headed out a bit to look BLAKE B, in the eye, got collared by that rival a sixteenth out, then kept on to salvage the show honors. UNION LIGHTS bobbled at the break recovering outwards into CENTAVO, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish but was outkicked. PERSISTENT DANGER lunged at the start, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide for home and offered no response. FLOWING RIVER shied out at the start filling the space left vacant by UNION LIGHTS, chased along the inside and then just off the inside before heading three wide through the turn coming under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, tipped four wide at the head of the stretch and weakened in the drive. INDIANQUEST lunged at the break and got away last, chased seven to eight paths off the inside down the backstretch and then remained in the overland route five wide through the turn under light encouragement from the half mile pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
