GULFY was hustled to the front, contested the pace on the inside of a rival, moved to a solo lead late on the backstretch, controlled the action in the two path on the turn, responded well when roused at the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the three path and drew off under strong urging. FIRST BLESSING was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the inside of the winner, dropped back late on the backstretch then moved out into the turn, chased the leader in the three path around most of that bend, turned into the stretch in the four path, lugged in some in the drive, drifted to the rail outside the sixteenth-pole and safely secured the place. MAGICSTRIKESAGAIN chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn and tired while clear for the show. CROWBAR ARTIST was hustled from the gate then dropped well back while ridden along, raced inside for most of the turn then shifted to the two path, was drive into the stretch in the three path while under the crop and lacked the needed response. GO DHARMA came outward at the break and was last to commence, was urged along at the rear of the field, moved from the two path to the three path late on the turn and was no factor. RUBY'S TROUBLE leaned out and brushed the gate, was urged along on the inside of an opponent, dropped from the three path to the inside early on the turn, moved to the two path late on that bend and came up empty.
