SHOOT THE NICKEL was hustled from the gate, dropped back in crowded quarters near the five-eighths pole then was ridden along off the pace, raced inside for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final stride and prevail. SOCIAL HOUR was sent to the front, showed the way under pressure to his outside, vied inside on the turn, shook clear near the five-sixteenths pole, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop while still clear outside the sixteenth-pole, shortened stride while drifting out late and was denied while clear for the place. SPIRIT DRAGON was hustled from the gate then hard ridden in third position, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and proved no match for the top two while able to get the show. SEEKER'S HOPE brushed with a rival at the start, pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, lost touch with the leader late on that bend and tired. THIRTEEN G'S was last to commence, angled out under urging early then was ridden along at the rear, raced in the three path on the turn and failed to threaten. SKYTOWN brushed with an opponent at the start, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the five path and came up empty.
