Footnotes
VANILLA SUNDAE went to the front, showed the way while well rated, extended the advantage while dropping from the two path to the rail on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, drew off in upper stretch, swapped back to her inside lead outside the furlong marker then went back to the proper lead when given a pop of a left-handed crop nearing that marker, widened under a drive into the final sixteenth then was eased up while much the best. STONE COLD KELLY bumped with a rival at the start then was hustled, chased the pace down the backstretch, was hard ridden in pursuit of the winner in the three path on the turn and proved no match but held the place. LUCKFORYOU pressed then tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, remained on her inside lead until just inside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead and weakened while clear for third. ICE CREAM BOAT was bumped hard at the start then bobbled while bumping with another foe, spotted the front a few lengths while slow into stride due to the trouble, angled out early then settled on the outside, was roused late on the backstretch, dropped the five path to the two path early on the turn, moved to the rail around the five-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. LADY GUNNER stumbled badly at the start and bumped hard with a rival while off slow, settled off the pace, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and capitulated.
