BADGE OF WAR coaxed from the gate, raced four wide in aim of the leader down the backstretch before advancing tucked three wide into the turn to vie outside the top pair, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and took over command swinging three to four wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to score. SCOTTISH STORM struck the near side stall at the start and then got bumped by ATROCIOUS, who broke outwards, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, tipped out a path a furlong out and closed well to latch on his stable and barn mate at the finish. GOOD AS HE GETS got bumped at the start by STURDY, who broke inwards, chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. ATROCIOUS broke out at the start bumping SCOTTISH STORM, prompted the pace of CUANDO from the outside in the three path before advancing tucked to the two path inside the half mile pole to vie for command between rivals coming under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. STURDY broke in at the start bumping GOOD AS HE GETS, chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced through to the finish. CUANDO broke in at the start bumping MAJESTIC MICHAEL, showed the way in hand just off the inside under pressure from ATROCIOUS to the outside, tucked inside into the turn and came under challenge from a pair and was placed to coaxing seven-sixteenths from home, got displaced from command near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. EGYPT coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, went five wide at the head of the stretch, offered no response. SOUNDS LIKE FUN chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn ridden along from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, made no impact. MAJESTIC MICHAEL got bumped at the start by CUANDO, who broke inwards, chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then along the inside through the turn pushed along from midway, tipped three wide into upper stretch and tired.
