NILO'S ROSE went to the front then showed the way while off the inside, went around most of the turn in the two path, was roused in the three path near the quarter-pole, responded well under threat from multiple foes in the stretch, turned back the runner-up into the final sixteenth and prevailed under strong urging. PISTOL LIZ ABLAZEN settled on the outside, gained in the four to five path on the turn, was roused near the quarter-pole, made an outside bid in upper stretch, battled with the winner into the final sixteenth then was turned away and outfinished while just able to get the place. SOUNDBITE was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three to four path on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong, moved in around the sixteenth-pole, kept on to the finish and just missed the place while clear for the show. BABY SASSICAIA was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace on the inside of a foe, chased in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened then drifted out late. YANKEE DOODLE broke a step slow then was forced in and slow into stride, raced well behind the rest of the field under urging, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. LUNA MOTH was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, retreated while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, came out outside the furlong marker and capitulated.
