Footnotes
PROBABLE ANGLE bumped hard with rivals on both sides early then checked, raced off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the three path then came further out, chased inside of the runner-up into the final furlong, gained in tandem with that foe into the final sixteenth, bobbed heads while brushing approaching the finish and narrowly prevailed on the line. CRAVINGS broke out at the start, bumped hard with foes on both sides early then was taken in hand, came under strong urging shortly thereafter, rounded the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path then moved further out, chased outside of the winner into the final furlong, gained in tandem with that opponent into the final sixteenth, bobbed heads while brushing nearing the finish and was denied while just able to get the place. PURPLE DIVINE bumped hard with a foe early, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the four path on the turn, took the lead late on that bend, shook clear in the three path into the stretch, drifted inward under a drive around the three-sixteenths pole, led desperately into the final sixteenth and was caught while well clear for the show. BELLORO was off slow then checked, spotted the front several lengths, was urged along on the far outside, went around the turn in the five then six path, moved out in upper stretch and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. CLARIVIDENTE jostled with a foe at the start then came out and bumped soundly with the same opponent, showed speed and disputed the pace loosely between horses, vied in the three path for most of the turn then dropped to the two path, lost touch with PURPLE DIVINE into upper stretch and tired. ST. BRIGID'S CROSS came outward at the start then was hustled, disputed the pace on the inside of two rivals, vied in the two path for most of the turn then dropped to the inside while retreating late on that bend and stopped then was eased but walked off. SALUTE TO SERVICE jostled with a foe at the start, was carried out shortly thereafter then bumped hard with foes on both sides and checked, raced off the pace under urging, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the inside to the two path late on the turn and faltered then was also eased but walked off.
