Footnotes
PURPOSE chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled five wide into upper stretch, angled in two paths nearing the eighth pole, rallied to steadily gain through to the finish and was up in the last jumps to the wire. CALLING AN AUDIBLE vied early on three wide between foes before emerging to duel three then two wide with LONCHURA to her inside, shook off that rival with seven-sixteenths to run confronted by GALLANT GRETA at that station and dueled once more now with that rival to her outside, took the inside route at the quarter pole headed for the front and drifted out a path carrying GALLANT GRETA out with her to her outside and seized back the front straightened away, dug in under a drive inching away briefly, then got caught in the final strides to the finish and forced to settle for the place honors. DANNEEL chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish to secure the show honors clear of the rest. GALLANT GRETA broke open the stall door prior to the start and was backed out and reloaded, vied briefly from the five path before easing off a bit to track the duel in closest aim, tucked three wide at the half mile pole and advanced to duel with CALLING AN AUDIBLE from the seven-sixteenths through to the quarter pole when taking narrow command before spinning just off the inside at that station, got carried three wide straightened away, dug in prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. LONCHURA broke in at the start under coaxing bumping LUMENIQUE, vied from the two path with a pair to her outside before emerging to duel with CALLING AN AUDIBLE, tucked inside into the turn and came under urging near the seven-sixteenths when shaken off, chased through the turn and faded, swung three wide for home, then weakened through to the finish. SKY RUNNER chased four then two wide under prolonged urging from the half mile pole, angled out five to six wide into upper stretch, tired. LUMENIQUE got bumped at the start by LONCHURA, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went three wide into upper stretch, trailed throughout.
