TOMACON moved up under urging to contest the pace on the inside of rivals, vied along the rail on the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, fought with IRON MAN IRA into the final furlong, shook clear outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best. SIX KINGS was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch under a drive and finished willingly for the place. IRON MAN IRA bumped with a rival at the start, disputed the pace with two rivals, vied in the two path while outside of the winner on the turn, drifted out under a left-handed crop while in front into upper stretch, fought on the outside while remaining on his inside lead, switched to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, lost the advantage back to the winner in the process and tired while able to hold the show. FIRST TRUMPET bumped with a foe at the start, contested the pace on the outside, dropped back late on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn and weakened. GOLDEN PURCHASE was hustled from the gate then urged along at the rear, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, moved inward in upper stretch and came up empty.
