Footnotes
STRAPPED coaxed from the gate, raced just off the inside past the stands the first turn and grew rank when put to restraint off the heels of a rival just before heading into the first turn, settled along the inside through that turn before tipping three wide down the backstretch, tucked to the two path three furlongs from home and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, followed MO RHODES at the quarter pole and swung seven wide into upper stretch outside that rival straightened away, rallied to take command a furlong out, came in under a right handed crop as the former leader did the same, dug in gamely head to head and inched away to the finish to prevail. MO RHODES brushed the near side stall at the start, raced just off the inside under a firm hold just off a rival and between foes in close quarters, tipped six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four wide into the far turn, got given a notch to work with and advanced on the pace dispute up front to seize command swinging six wide into upper stretch, got roused under challenge straightened away, dug in coming in under a right handed crop mirrored by his main rival and was collared a furlong out, fought on to the finish to be along well clear for the place honors, second best. CUT THE CORD coaxed from the gate, raced three wide through the first turn forwardly placed, vied three then two wide from the five-eighths marker to the five-sixteenths coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. PROVE WORTHY four wide through the first turn, vied five then three wide outside a pair of rivals coming under encouragement with three furlongs to run, swung five then four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the stretch. PORTOS chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, made no impact. KOLOMIO showed the way early on from the two path under some pressure from a pair then had those rivals advance and vied inside of them from five furlongs out, came under coaxing near the three-eighths pole, yielded the front and was taken in hand just outside the quarter pole when attempting to get out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
