Footnotes
LIGHT THE WAY brushed with a rival just after the start, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths, came under a right-handed crop into upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop while dueling with the runner-up inside the three-sixteenths pole then drifted out, swapped back to a right-handed crop near the furlong marker, battled gamely with the runner-up to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. SILO RIDGE brushed with a foe just after the break while hustled, moved up to dispute the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, dueled outside of the winner in upper stretch, came under one pop of a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker then switched to a right-handed crop, battled tooth and nail with the winner to the finish and was denied while clear for the place. THE MONOPOLY MAN brushed with an opponent at the start then was hustled, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, pursued the top two under a drive into the final furlong and weakened while clear for the show. PRINCE OF TRUTH brushed with a foe at the start, was urged along on the outside, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn and lacked the needed response. FACE THE FACTS angled in early, was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three path and failed to rally. AELFGAR broke in at the start, settled towards the rear, saved ground under urging on the turn and came up empty. AL AMEEQ showed speed then chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, fell to the rear of the field in the two path on the turn and faltered.
