TOWER TWENTY TWO settled off the pace, chased in the four path for most of the turn, dropped to the three path while gaining outside the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, battled outside of SABBY SUNSET into the final sixteenth and just held under strong urging. AH CA IRA stumbled at the start but broke with the rest of the field, settled towards the rear, was urged along in the three path on the turn, gained in the five path under a right-handed crop into the stretch, was switched to a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, drifted out inside that marker and closed well but was too late while up for the place. SABBY SUNSET went to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked late on that bend, lost the advantage in upper stretch, fought on with the winner into the final sixteenth but was outfinished then lost the place while well clear for the show. MARY IN THE IRONS was urged along at the rear, moved from the three path to the four path on the turn, was pulled in by her rider to illicit a lead change in upper stretch then moved out and improved position without threatening. BROKEN ZIPPER stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn and tired. ESTHER'S SALAD was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two then three path and failed to respond. TALE OF THE TAIL tracked the pace, chased in the two path on the turn and capitulated. I AM EV settled towards the rear, came under urging before the five-eighths pole, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. FRANKIE HICCUPS was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, came up empty in the two path early on the turn and retreated.
