IRON HONOR got bumped between foes at the start who each broke his way, raced forwardly placed early despite it and seized narrow command six and a half furlongs from home, vied four then three wide with a pair of rivals with a third in close attendance down the backstretch, emerged from the half mile pole to duel with the runner up through the turn from the three path coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, swung five wide into upper stretch, continued to knock heads in upper stretch and seized narrow command a furlong out tussled with the runner up before inching away inside the final seventy yards to prevail kept to task. CROWN THE BUCKEYE struck the off side stall at the start, advanced to vied three then two wide among a trio with a close prompter to the outside, dueled with the aforementioned foe from the two path coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch and shook away from the rest of the field in tandem with the top one, dug in under threat and was headed a furlong out, fought on inside through to the final seventy yards, got shaken off late while well clear of the rest and along second best. RIGHT TO PARTY got bumped at the start by FOURTH AND ONE and was squeezed out to last, chased just off the inside from the tail of the field coming under encouragement with seven-sixteenths to run, angled out eight to nine wide into upper stretch, made no ground on the top pair through the stretch while improving position to secure the show honors showing good courage. EXHIBITION ONLY broke in at the break brushing the near side stall before bumping IRON HONOR in concert with FOURTH AND ONE, raced six then five wide just off the pace dispute to his inside, came under urging at the seven-sixteenths marker, tipped six to seven wide at the top of the stretch and weakened. BALBOA coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside and then just off the inside down the backstretch, tucked back inside through the far turn and came under urging nearing the five-sixteenths, angled six wide at the head of the lane, passed tired rivals to the finish. HAMMOND chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. DIRTY RICH away to the front, led briefly early on before vying for command five then four paths off the inside down the backstretch with the top pair to his inside, got shaken off into the turn and chased four wide ridden along from the three-eighths pole, went three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. FOURTH AND ONE broke out at the start bumping RIGHT TO PARTY and squeezing that foe back before making contact with IRON HONOR in tandem with EXHIBITION ONLY, chased six to seven paths off the rail down the backstretch, went five wide through the turn under urging from midway, tipped seven wide for home and tired through to the end.
