PARADISE brushed the off side stall at the start when breaking outwards, chased four wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, rallied to poke a head in front a furlong out, then edged clear to the finish to prevail. NYCON broke outwards brushing the off side stall at the start and was away last, chased two to three paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the inside through the turn, came under urging three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch before tipping out an additional path, kicked on belatedly and was just up for the place honors in the last jumps to the wire. INTERSTATELOVESONG got bumped at the break by BLAZING BRAT, who broke outwards, prompted the pace of CURRENT YIELD from the outside four then three wide, came under coaxing near the quarter pole taking over narrow command just outside that station, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared just outside the eighth pole, kept on to the finish but was nailed for the place honors while well clear for the show. CURRENT YIELD established the front after the start and showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure from the aforementioned foe to the outside, got pushed along midway on the turn, yielded the front nearing the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch and weakened through to the finish. BLAZING BRAT broke out at the start bumping INTERSTATELOVESONG, chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, continued three to four wide at the head of the stretch and trailed.
