Footnotes
GEOSTOBLAME got bumped at the start by STANICKY, who broke inwards, chased two to three wide from just off the pace before advancing to latch on the leader near the half mile pole, steadily increased the pressure through the turn patiently handled and was let out swinging four wide into upper stretch and seized command straightened away, then drew clear under a drive to prevail. REIGN IT IN chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, cornered five to six wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors. BIG BROOKLYN bobbled just after the start, showed the way in hand just off the inside clear early on before coming under brief pressure from a pair of foes near the half mile pole, had one of those rivals back away and was confronted by the top one midway on the turn, got placed to encouragement in response, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and yielded the front straightened away, then weakened in the final furlong while well clear of the rest for the show honors. TRAPPING HANDS broke a half a beat slow and was bumped at the start by CHARLIE HUSTLE breaking outwards, chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. SWEDISH CANDY chased just off the inside until angled out four to five wide at the half mile pole, went four wide through the turn and then three wide into upper stretch and made no impact. CHARLIE HUSTLE broke out at the start bumping TRAPPING HANDS, came under hustling and chased four wide, advanced on the front near the half mile pole and into the turn, then retreated from the three-eighths marker, went five to six wide at the top of the stretch and faltered in the drive. STANICKY broke in a step at the start bumping GEOSTOBLAME, chased three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the finish.
