THORSNESS broke in at the start then was hustled, moved up to get the lead then showed the way on the inside of an opponent, was asked in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage coming to the quarter-pole then dropped back into upper stretch, chased the runner-up into the final furlong, fought on into the final sixteenth and came back to narrowly prevail under strong urging. PROJECTABILITY was taken in hand inside the seven-eighths pole then moved out, raced up close on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead coming to the quarter-pole then shook clear into upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the place. INONIT broke out at the start, dropped well back while showing no speed then angled in, advanced in the two path for most of the turn then dropped to the inside, chased along the rail in the stretch, gained into the final sixteenth and finished with good courage for the show. LUCKY DRAGON was carried in at the start, angled out in the chute, was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch under a drive and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. SPORTS HERO pressed the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch, moved out outside the furlong marker and weakened then just missed the superfecta. UNCLE BARRIE was carried in at the start, settled under some urging, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn and gained but failed to threaten. NOGUCHI was well placed under urging, dropped back along the rail on the turn and lacked the needed response. DAYTONA MOONSHINE broke in then tossed his head while corrected hard with a tug of the right rein, angled out in the chute, lagged at the rear on the far outside, dropped from the five path to the three path on the turn and was no factor. SOLO FLIGHT was carried in at the start, dropped well back under urging, rounded the turn in the four path and also was no factor.
