WITH THE ANGELS broke on top, settled five then four wide just off the duel, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, went five then four wide into upper stretch, took over command with three-sixteenths to go and edged clear under a drive to prevail. SUNDAY GIRL dueled four then three wide with MY LIL PUNKY to her inside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and took over command inside that station, swung four then three wide into upper stretch, got collared with three-sixteenths remaining, ran on to chase the winner home safe for the place honors. LUCILLE BALL brushed the near side stall at the break, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch in aim of the duel, tucked two to three wide through the turn and came under urging just past the three-eighths marker, went six then five wide at the top of the stretch, kept on to the finish. MY LIL PUNKY hustled from the gate, dueled three then two wide with SUNDAY GIRL to her outside, came under encouragement nearing the quarter pole and swung three then two wide for home, then weakened in the stretch.
