GENA B showed speed then went clear outside the five-eighths pole, dictated terms in the two path on the turn, responded well when roused inside the quarter-pole, extended the advantage under two light taps of the crop in the vicinity of the furlong marker and drew off under a hand-ride to the finish. SMART SUGAR leaned inward at the start, was rated just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, chased the winner under a drive in the stretch then proved no match, fought with FUSION to the finish for the place and shared that position on the wire. FUSION broke fast and went to the front, lost the lead outside the five-eighths pole then dropped back before being switched to the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, chased the winner into upper stretch then also proved no match, battled with SMART SUGAR to the finish for the place and shared that position. JORDAN'S LOVE was hustled from the gate then coaxed along off the pace, went around the turn in the four path while under stronger urging, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. MY DEVINE ONE was urged along on the outside at the rear, angled in near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn, saved ground into the stretch and failed to respond. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times.
