TOXIC GRAY coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive and was geared down in the late stages. AWESOME NATIVE chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path half a mile from home before making his way to the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, angled out seven to eight wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on to secure the place honors clear of the rest. SOZE a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, got bumped at the break by the breaking outwards RANGER BATTALION, chased inside briefly before tipping out to the three path, chased three then two wide coming under urging midway on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, came under a left handed crop near the three-sixteenths and shied out three paths, got corrected and kept on to the finish to be along for the show honors. RANGER BATTALION broke out at the start bumping SOZE, chased inside briefly before tipping to the two path, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, tipped out three wide into upper stretch and weakened. GARAMOND four then three wide in pursuit, got pushed along with five-sixteenths to go, went seven wide into upper stretch and tired.
